Polarization maintaining fiber array (PM-FA) is mostly used in coherent optical communication. Polarization maintaining fiber can keep the polarization state of light wave unchanged in the transmission process, and can give full play to the advantages of coherent reception. Polarization maintaining optical array uses V-groove (i.e. V-groove) to install a polarization maintaining optical fiber belt on the array substrate, which can realize highly dense parallel transmission under the measures of ensuring the polarization stability of light wave.
